Michael Zhao

Michael was an Intern in the Baliga lab, who worked on a multi-lab collaborative project with the Baliga, Pakpour, and Kuchina labs. He graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry. During his time at ISB, he worked on adapting microSPLiT to Mycobacteria tuberculosis. He currently attends medical school at UBC. Outside of the lab, he enjoys playing the piano and self-studying pure math topics.
