Sophie was a Research Associate in the Kuchina Lab who graduated from the University of Washington, where she got her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in data science. In the Kuchina Lab, Sophie was aiding in executing and improving the microSPLiT workflow for project needs. When she was not in the lab, she enjoyed being outside as much as Seattle weather allowed her to, listening to podcasts (The Business of Fashion Podcast is one of her favorites), and spending time with family and friends.
